Hi Blue Marlin,

Queensland is notorious for the darn ugly cane toad but that one looks like a harmless green tree frog to me. Bob might know better though. G'day Bob, good to see other Aussies in here.

I hate getting up early, I didn't even realise there were two 6 o'clocks in one day!

South Oz is safe from the cane tur...er..toad, too dry. They prefer the moist, humid areas, hence their "invasion" of the Northern Territory.

The green frog is one of the good blokes, eating cockroaches and the like. And, it is a good climate forecaster; see green frogs and all is well in the district.

Good to see that chevin and I are not the only blokes from Australia....even if you are from SA. ;);)

Blue Marlin, mate get over to Margaret River, a piece of paradise.chevin will tell you :thumbs:

The bities and poisonous creatures are not all that bad, sure, we have 7 of the 10 most poisonous snakes and 2 of the most poisonous spiders but, all-in-all there are more people killed crossing streets in any given town/city.

Must say, Mike Oldfield has some great music.

@Bob, Mikey fan huh! Join me in tubularnet.com and we can chat about that. There was a horse called Tubular Bells ran in the Adelaide Cup last month and came second. If he makes it to the Melbourne Cup he might give Mike Oldfield some well deserved publicity.

Who's Chevin? Haven't seen him around. Hellbelly on this site is a South Ozzy too.

The farmer will be aware that this happens (its common in sheep apparently) and would have come along and spotted it. So it will be okay, but hand reared.

Steve...:)

Hopefully it will be twinned. Twinning is much better for the lamb than hand rearing.

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.

Went out into the garden last night & thought I'd wandered into the everglades! The amount of croaking was incredible. I shone a torch into my ponds & there was some serious Frog porn going on.

Had to take a shot of this happy fella sat on top of a load of spawn. Mind he has every reason to smile, if you only have it once a year you really need to have a good 'un' don't you!
