Interesting, they're the ones I was looking at when I made the mistake of buying Pro-Logic's a couple of years ago. Two of which no longer work and I can't even get their after sales to pick up the phone.

Just an observation on the Fox Micron M

I was using one down at my lake about a month ago.

When I packed up, for some reason I forgot about it and it has been there ever since.

It has rained a lot here in the past month, particularly in the past two weeks so it has been repeatedly soaked.

My wife stumbled across it yesterday and brought it back up to the house.

I switched it on and it worked perfectly.

I paid £15.00 each for mine. Why would you buy anything else?

Let's agree to respect each others views, no matter how wrong yours may be.

I had 3 out in about the coldest conditions i have fished in ( -10 at wingham with the eel club) and two did give up the ghost in the morning but the one old one i had was fine. i would have noticed the run as i put them almost into the bivvy. I felt like Scott of the Antartic. One bailiff braved it with me but another bottled it....Some bloke from Wacky races bottled it... :2:

Yes, I use and sell those TF Gear Dave Lane Ones. Currently using the Ignite versions and they are proving to be very reliable and I always neglect my alarms, falling into the camp of switch it off and chuck it in the rodbag.

Can suppy at a good price too.

  • 3 weeks later...

Do anyone use bite alarms with feeders? I want to buy some for a night fishing, but i'm not sure... And what's the use of bobbin hangers? Just to keep line straight in bite alarm?

Thanks.
