Chesters, I don't think the flavour of the water has much to do with it either. Maybe I'm biased because we get our water from Loch Katrine and that's about as pure as water gets, so it doesn't contain anything that offputting. I don't know what your tapwater is like but I know it varies in quality all over the UK.

Andy, any chance you could post a few bottles of loch katrine water to rusty? Could be an edge... ;)

Would it not be easier just to fill a bottle with tap water and claim Andy posted it?

 

It could be a confidence thing, if Rusty thinks the water is from Loch Katrine if might boost his confidence and he would catch more.

I don't think Rusty is concerned about people sending him their pee, he's more concerned about those extracting it. ;)

Read any carp mag or forum and you'll soon see that everyone needs an edge. Pretty much everyone says 'do the opposite to everyone else', so I would suggest using tapwater after all, if no-one else is.

 

Nash will be selling bottles of it soon, you'll see.
