The way it's looking weatherwise up here I'll not be going to the fish-in.

Not last time but the time before when we fished in horizontal sleet storms I suffered quite badly with my neck and throat when I got home.

I can't chance it again, not even for a lady. :(

If it does pick up I'll be there. :D

Ferret,

The forecast for Saturday is still looking good.

Dry and Sunny and temperature up to 5C, albeit with cold North Easterly of up to 18mph.

Weather is not going to be brilliant but at least dry. The cold has never put the Grayling off before, when I have fished for them. Even earlier on in the year when it was -6 and my rod rings were freezing up, they were still more than obliging.

Its snowing heavily here in the High Weald, and just beginning to lay.

Fingers crossed that we don't get the roads blocked up here, but once down on the coast road it should be OK.

I do fancy a picture of a nice grayling with a snow background.

As I'm approaching the fishery from the east, I'll see you jokers at the fishery itself.

Its quite nasty down here at the moment - bitterly cold and rain come sleet. Likely to be a tough one :(
