There's been so little take-up of places this year that I won't have to do 2 sittings. So far, there are only 18 of you coming to fish.

 

So you can all now fish the entire weekend if you want to!

 

Additionally, if those who were coming for just the social side want to fish it looks as though you'll be able to do so, although I'll confirm nearer the time.

Very shortly after he suggests I need new wheels, a Polish 38 tonner tried to turn left from the outside lane and took the front off-side of the car out.

 

I'm going to be car-less for a few weeks as the car is a write-off. Sadly I can't therefore make Wingham.

Most importantly, Bernadette and Sarah are OK - a bit shaken up, but physically fine. I dislocated my finger when the sterring wheel took off on its own, but from years of playing hockey and cricket, I managed to put the thing back. Still, after the RAC arrived and got us home,. it was off to the ROyal for a check-up. I'm OK, but a bit angry still.
