Bn having a bit of success latley on the lakes with meat flavoured angel delight gives the meat a very different texture to anything i have used before

The strawberry flavour gives the meat a sort of turkish delight look\feel and a very sticky texture seems to work wonders

Used this tactic on monday jus fished in the edge on a very miserable day and ended up with 4 carp for over 30lbs wen everyone on the lake cud'nt even get a bite on maggots by the way i was using a pole aswel

Sounds interesting Big Tinca - is that meat flavoured with Angel Delight or Angel Delight made up with liquidised meat?

And what flavour Angel Delight (I'm guessing strawberry)?

Our chief weapon is surprise

I've caught tench and roach using the same glace cherry from a bakewell tart I was given. (I hate bakewells).

This is a signature, there are many signatures like it but this one is mine

Have you ever eaten a proper Bakewell *pudding*, Alan? Far too good to use as bait (no cherry on top, mind)!

I've caught dace on silver paper and once nearly landed a pike on a bait dropper - it grabbed it on the retrieve and hung on for dear life until I brought it to the net when it eventaully managed to shake it free!

I'm afraid school dinners scared me off for life!

As for Bakewell itself, I drove through it about 2 weeks ago, and the traffic jams were a sufficient deterrent to preclude further investigation!
