Your biggest fish!

My biggest river fish would have to be a....................gudgeon. The 'monster' caused the needle on the scales to hover, and just touch the 4oz mark! The record at the time was 4oz 4drms, this means that my gudgeon was about 92% of the national record. This in relative terms, makes it my 'biggest' ever, river caught fish.

Biggest river fish would be a 12lb 8oz mirror from the river Wey. Hopefully this year I'll track down some hefty Thames carp, and maybe even a massive Thames barbel. I'm confident some river pbs will be going this season!
