Just got back.

Bought a landing net and handle for £8 something.

Cheap enough as a spare.

Rob, camping stuff, couldn't tell ya but if I'd have seen your post I'd have had a look for ya.

N fishing kit in my local but I have just picked up a fleece blanket for less than £3.

I'll use it for travelling but it's ideal for a bivy or just to keep in the car for the winter - especially if you're prone to falling in occasionally.

Edit. I also noticed the value sandwich bags. Only £1.97, fully insulated and just the job for keeping a few deadbaits cold.

Apparently (so said AT) it was one of their (Tesco's) top managers, who's an angler, who got them to market fishing tackle. Probably a little more market research would not have gone amiss.

Tight Lines,

I remember as a kid buying fishing kit for Woolworths.

Funny thing is Tescos are selling the same brand. :)
