Identification Help

I have a strangely shaped item that is leather covered glass. No clue what it might be but hoping someone on here might. Its about 6.5 inches tall. Click on a photo to enlarge it.

Natasha says the leather work is Middle Eastern - to me the fluers are more French.

Natasha says the mark on the bottom (the artist made the images in his head and gave to someone to be his friend). She says probably Northern Spain and Muslim - not old.
