When discussing the EU, it's useful to take a look at (one view of) how it all got started.

Having read and listened to "opinions" I'd like to make a general statement about history.

 

The greater the arms length the greater the risk. If you start with the family, local government, state government, then a united government of states the EU would be the first time in recorded history it has worked. (The word "state" is used in the political science meaning i.e. nation).

 

Currently, if you "follow the money" I cannot discount the coalesces of Germany and satellites with India - or China (history would dictate no chance with Russia). Historically power is money.

The EU is a similar size, population wise, to the U.S. Imagine keeping that on track if you didn't all agree that you were and wanted to be Americans? (Texans excluded)

Our problem flag on this side of the pond today is now larger - real problem, not a knee jerk reaction to a recent horrible event such as is covered by Chester's video above.

 

 

Puerto Rico seems to be near defaulting on a rather substantial debt of more than $70,000,000,000 ($70 billion). It seems that US States cannot declare bankruptcy while cities can and have in recent years. I'm honestly not sure what the rules are for a commonwealth such as PR.

At least the other neighbour problem has lessened (cuba) it amuses me america blockaded a country for wanting missles to defend itself from an aggressive neighbour but america had no qualms filling europe with their missiles protecting them from theirs.

Trouble is debt is good for business its traded as much as anything else but in some cases sending the bailiffs in is pointless LOL

You write it off and them your careful how you lend money to in the future the sames goes for greece ,they will have to sort it out for themselves but a good step forward would be to hang the government officials who got them in the mess in the first place then all the rest that carried on in their footsteps

The "flag" in question was not the flag of the South. It was the battle flag for the army of Northern Virginia. The issue is "what does it now represent"? Frankly, too sensitive for me to address with any conviction or authority. If I had to assume a personal opinion it would be laissez faire, the practice or doctrine of noninterference in the affairs of others,

If the sensitive (are you forbidden to talk in the land of the free?) bit is slavery my question is why ,slavery was never banished it just changed race .

We have plenty look at every sex club nail parlour and car wash ,i presume like the word nigger "slavery" has now been empowered (owned) only by blacks?

Its getting bad here as well obama mentioned the word and it was beeped out ,can words be so awful presidents even slightly black ones are forbiden to speak it only real blacks if so whats a real black person ,smacks of raceism if you ask me (probably not colour predudice?)

 

Surely the flag in question represents confederacy if you wanted to insult blacks a KKK flag could enflame (titter) things far better?

Our union flag flew over atrocities beyond belief but for some reason a flag in your country disturbs you ,perhaps you should yet again fly ours as nature intended

 

ps you can come back into the fold but we dont need your church of any description nor polititions and the condition of entry is the public execution blood eagle style of donald trump ,if he gets elected americas sickness is beyond cure and we dont want it
