I'll be updating the Wingham web site fairly shortly. Is everyone happy for me to use their pics?

No problem Steve

hi all i just like to thank you all for all the good comments made about the AN fish in . as i said last year its one of the highlights of the year for us .

i also like to thank the fishless one (elton) for setting up the tripwire in his swim to catch me out (and it did) :D . this then left the door wide open for me to get my own back.

1. going back later stepping over thr tripwire and scaring the crap out of him

2. going round and telling him he could not use his kelly kettle because it was a sssi site and no fires are allowed ( it was like taking a toy off a kid which you just gave him, his bottom lip was a picture as he sulked)

3. the best one , getting my 5 yr old mate teejay to go ask him what a carp looks like (elton was totaly lost for words ) then looked at me in fits of laughter :clap2:

once again i would like to thank you all for making it such a great event

catch ya later glyn and terry

Hi Glyn

I think I will try the trip-wire trick as it's much less strain on the heart than the way kim woke me up when you came around for a chat.

For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, while I was fishing Wingham this year and after having a very restless night I decided to have a couple of hours kip. My partner Kim was sat out by my rods reading a book and enjoying the sun. When Glyn and Elton came around for a chat rather than just give me a nudge to wake me up she decided to grab the line on one of my rods and simulate a screaming run. I nearly had a bloody heart attack!!! I was very tempted to let her walk home after that but she had the diesel money <_<<_<

Thanks again for all the hard work you all put in.

Effort equals reward!!

Sorry Rob, I had to edit the post as the images were wayyyyyyy too big to keep in the post.

I`ve resized them for the forum, but left links to the original full size images
