have a look at the photo again kleinboet the reason the gun looks so big is because its about 6 ft closer to the camera than the people standing behind the boar(its an effect called forced perspective peter jackson used it a lot in the lord of the rings and sea angler magazine use it a lot to make small fish look like big fish) the log the boars heads on looks a different size in the 2 shots because the photos are taken from different angles as well as ranges. The smith & wesson .500 is a big handgun though weighs in at around 73- 83 ounces depending which model you have, mind you it needs to weigh that much to make the recoil comfortable to handle.

Thats what I said but only with less words!!!! ;)

There's a fine line between fishing and standing on the shore like an idiot!

Chesters1 - sorry but you can only go fishing for fish. If you target dolphins you would have to go mammaling.

Elton,

Number three may be a pig but it certainly is not a boar.

Can not believe no one else has picked up on this, apart from CG.

Fishing seems to be my favorite form of loafing.

I know the joy of fishes in the river through my own joy, as I go walking along the same river.

What do you think if the float does not dip, try again I think.

I think that the danger here is when that kids schoolmates get to hear about it. I would suggest that he is in for a bit of a rough ride and bearing in mind the sort of artillery that he has apparent easy access to that may not be a very good thing.
