Thunderstorm over Southampton and IOW

What is the weather like where you are? Getting rather dark here, with lots of rumbles in the distance.

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.

Not long finished here, (W. of Soton), don't remember ever hearing quite such sustained thunder before.

Sun is shining again now.

It's just arrived here, North of Swindon. Wind, rain, bright sun, thunder, two rainbows, black clouds on the horizon. Mad weather.

I already have that link in my bookmarks Leon. The storm turned out to be a bit of a damp squib in the end. They sky is nearly clear now.

I have been watching the storm and it is fascinating, moving of slowly north east,

Overcast here but looks very black looking east towards Cardiff.

I fish, I catches a few, I lose a few, BUT I enjoys. Anglers Trust PM

Well it has all gone now, and it hardly even dampened the pavements here. Its a bit of a shame really, there is nothing to beat a really violent thunder storm, better than blanking for mullet, even.
