High all,

 

A lot of you will know me as "the reel doctor"

or Nigel of N.J.F.Reel Repairs.

I have had many people contact me and tell me you were recommended by so and so on Anglers Net.

 

So I thought it was about time I thanked those concerned for their support.

 

For those that dont know me you've not missed anything LOL

Caught a PB spurdog of 9lb 4oz first time i used it.

welcome to anglers net, im sure youll enjoy your time here, although you will be tortured with reel questions - Like why do the abu 7500 c3 ct seize up.

 

Ive heared a lot about you and here your an absolute whizz with reels. Do me a favour though - If your approached by a chap on here called big cod, please tell him you know nothing about the Abu 9000. Infact tell him

they belong in a fishing museum.

 

God help me if he gets that thing tuned up.

Welcome to the site Doc and just wait for the questions. Here is mine.

I am sure I have your address somewhere. I was going to drop you a line about repairs to a Tatler I have. At least I can get to you easier on here.

Do you still repair Tatler reels?

"Spring " try some oil or a regular service mate.

Seriously though you may have poor bearings or a soft pinion gear,cant think of any other reason.

Usually bomb proof.

As for the Tatler you may be confusing me with Ian rose of paignton devon.great friend of mine

but alas he has now retired.

I will be taking his spares off him in the very near future,so yes a tatler will be no problem.
