More about it here. How can one be 'mildly supportive' of an outfit that aims to 'educate' children that the earth is only 6,000 years old and that dinosaurs and early man were contemporaries?

Well, I am not a scientist, but as I understand it there are a small number of scientists who believe this, and so I guess there has to be a slight possibility they are right. Also, in most of the debate I read about this the creationists are only saying that both views should be put forward as possibilities, whereas the evolutionists usually say that only their view can be put. I am in favour of free speech.

Quite often when open debate is allowed neither position turns out to be totally true, but being open and allowing all views to be put helps people get nearer to the truth.

Of course there are some creationists who are more dogmatic and closed than any evolutionist, and I don't support them at all!

Having said all that, I've never met a creationist who would explain to me exactly what they think really happened. The idea that one moment there were no animals on the earth and then ... PING ... here are some elephants and ... PING ... here are some giraffes. Well, I do admit it doesn't strike me as very likely but, well ... for some reason it reminds me of some of the Beatles' record covers. It quite appeals!

Fair's fair; Americans have the Creationists and we have The Monster Raving Loony Party. Tolerance in equal measure I say.

English as tuppence, changing yet changeless as canal water, nestling in green nowhere, armoured and effete, bold flag-bearer, lotus-fed Miss Havishambling, opsimath and eremite, feudal, still reactionary, Rawlinson End.

The clue who i am not going to vote for when the time comes, they who decided to scrap our plane called concord as opposed to giving it to someone who would have done something with it like Branson, can't forgive them for that.

With Branson's track record, he had no intention of doing anything with Concorde. He is supreme at one thing only - self promotion.

The timing of his announcement re Concorde was purely designed to get Virgin's / Brnason's name attached to a news item of the day.

Look back over key issues over the past 20 years - Branson's name is always in the mix, but how often is it followed through?

I'll give you a clue... Nil, zip, nada, S*d all and never.

As youy can tell, I am a true fan of his...not.

This is a signature, there are many signatures like it but this one is mine

Hi Alan, i didn't say i was a fan of his, it was a shame that the gov where very quick in decommisioning the aircraft along with b a, i think we had twelve of them apart from ones going to museums the rest where dismantled? Nothing has been flown to compare with that acheivement, what a shame. Tsr2 was another example of crap decisions made. As one of the vulcuns has been made airworthy, they could have least done something for concord.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..
