So what is it about jim dont tell me taking back control if you think we are ruled by a load of clowns in Brussels the ones we then will be left with after brexit will be no better infact worse .

It's about not being sucked into a Socialist experiment of the type that took 70 years to fail the other side of the Iron Curtain. The place where women received a medal for having 20 kids, and 20,000,000 people were murdered because they didn't agree with the leader.

All,

An American consolidation

August 1961: Britain applies to join EEC

January 1963: De Gaulle lays down impossible conditions for British entry to the EEC

January 1973: Britain joins the EEC

The Community is, and needs to be, an evolving institution. One temptation should be avoided – to seek, month after month, to prove that membership of the Community has created all Britain’s ills. We enter Europe with the reputation of being a nation of shopkeepers; we would be unwise to present ourselves as a nation of second-hand car dealers. Above all we should avoid creating a new, semi-permanent rift in British society, between pro and anti-Europeans

June 1975: Britain votes to stay in the European Community

June 1984: Thatcher secures budget rebate

September 1992: Black Wednesday: Pound drops out of ERM

July 1993: Conservative Maastricht rebels defeat government

January 2002: Euro goes into circulation

May 2004: Ten new countries join enlarged EU

LABOUR objects

September 2006: Nigel Farage wins Ukip leadership contest

December 2007: Brown ridiculed for dodging Lisbon treaty signing ceremony

January 2013: EU referendum: in-out choice by end of 2017, Cameron promises

Cod, Looks like labour objected coming in and going out.

There's a lot you don't get Paul, because you only look at the short term, how it affects you now. Little, if any, thought of what could/will happen in the future, either to us in or out of the EU, or the EU itself.

You also grab on to any piece of media hype, and post it on here as if it is gospel. That's whether it is biased, or twisted to suit your views, it doesn't matter just as long as there are the 'trigger' words/phrases for you to latch onto, you will gladly ignore the rest of the article because it doesn't suit your needs. Like the last one I replied to, pointing out the obvious hype, but you chose to ignore it.

John can anser this question why is it the vast majority of buisneses who at the end of the day keep this country running giving jobs investment etc all say Britain will undoubtably be worse off out of the EU now either your retired dont give a **** you cant tell me if people New before the referendum what they know now it what have been a yes to brexit just yesterday Land Rover has said if we are not in the single market 80 billion of investment is at risk they employ 40,000 people now how many of those employees voted brexit but were not told anything regarding there jobs could be at risk by brexit because if they were told it prior to the referendum now thats unless they are completely stupid they would have voted brexit .its all over the news about Land Rover and no its not frightening people its reality.

Big Cod,

Isn't your last comment exactly what labour said when you decided to JOIN the EU? Now it is STAY AT ALL COSTS! I'm struggling with labour's political position or maybe it is just """creating a new, semi-permanent rift in British society, between pro and anti-Europeans"""""
