Retired people could do work for pensions

Paid for from the taxes of those currently emloyed, not from some "pot" of "investments" made by the country as many beleive. I don't know where they get this idea from, that idea theat the National Insurance employers and employees pay every week is ring-fenced to pay for the Health Service, State Pension etc. It's not it's just another tax, paid to the Treasury who spend it it whatever they see fit.

The problem with this system is when you have high unemployment, especiialy young workers there are fewer working, paying Nat Ins, but more and more reaching retirement age looking for the pension thet they have "paid into". But they didn't "pay into" anything they were paying the pensions of those who were retired when they were young and working.

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.

No there is not and there in no "National Insurance" scheme. Those in work payed the pensions of pensioners from direct taxation. There is no pot and not one penny that we pay in Nat Ins is hypothecated.

There is a pot and a nice pie chart how its spent and NI has and does exist its what your NINO stands for although the cards have gone you still get a letter ,the government is not going to send letters about non existant things thus it must exist

Not sure i mentioned it i expect its another straw man from cory but heres a link to a thing cory says doesnt exist

https://www.gov.uk/national-insurance/overview

What you mean is its probably not ring fenced so that pot gets tipped into a bigger one

Is that not exactly what I said Chesters? Do you know what a strawman is? Please explain to me where I was making a strawman argument? Where have I said that "national insurance does not exist"?

A problem that would be reduced by letting in the go getters who have the qualifications and the work ethic to drive the economy forward by moving to the UK and working and creating jobs.

A problem that is made considerably worse by throwing open the doors to Europe (and because the EU fails to police it's boarders or deport illegal immigrants - the world) and letting in an endless stream of feckless parasites who have no intention of ever working.

With no "pot" and with the contribution made by those in work being spread so thin, don't expect a state pension, a functional health service or social assistance in old age - Johnny foreigner comes first.

The national insurance part ,i never mentioned it but you brought it into the equation so you could refute it

As you say its a direct tax but in this case some can decline paying into the "pot" but not get its benefits others do that do

And once you have paid in for that length of time, if your still working you still have to pay, even though you have scored enough years for a full pension. Load of cobblers.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..
