Vagabond 1013
Just for information. Very cold weather for April. Went for a short session on a local perch pool. Not a nibble. Bearing in mind Wingham takes time to warm up - any news of perch (or tench) catches there this spring ? Rusty 284
I’d be really grateful if somebody could spend some time with me on Saturday marking/spodding a swim. I don’t have the gear for that and have previously relied on fairly inaccurate casting and chucking out balls of groundbait. It's never a 'six', let's put it back
Steve Burke 177
The Carp Lake has already woken up. The Main Lake is on the cusp with a few tench to 9lbs having come out, but is usually about 10 days behind. The perch have been feeding all winter, averaging about 2-04. It may work out just right for the Fish-In, with hungry tench plus perch feeding up ready for spawning! I'd be happy to - while we're at it you can tell me how to catch double figure tench And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music
Anderoo 394
Would someone be able to bring 2 pints of red maggots for me please? I won't be able to get to a tackle shop beforehand... chesters1 1575
Id be really grateful if somebody could spend some time with me on Saturday marking/spodding a swim. I dont have the gear for that and have previously relied on fairly inaccurate casting and chucking out balls of groundbait. Works for most people all their lives ,except i am a bit tight on ground bait LOL Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies! There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong Its far easier to curse the darkness than light one candle Mathew 4:19 Grangers law : anything i say will turn out the opposite or not happen at all! Anderoo 394
Getting bait and rigs on the right spot really makes a difference at places like wingham - although you can never rule out success via a pub chuck And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music
