I'm sure you know, however, for the uninformed. The waiting queue for a soul or maybe a sole is purgatory.

Bet many wondered what that was for - now you know. You have to be specific - about your soul request or you may come back a hollow sinner with a fish in toe (for your sole).

What is your 'identity'?

 

The only real 'identity' that I'm aware of, is the official one that includes, my NI number, my medical card, my driving licence, etc, plus any scars, dental treatment, etc, that can be used to distinguish my body/person, from millions of others.

 

If you mean 'a soul', then yes, I believe that is an illusion.

I'm pretty sure I'm not you, or anyone else that I've spoken to, seen, or met.

I'm not the exact same as I was 15 years ago, I've less hair, more weight, had a few bits surgically removed, and had a few more life experiences, in other words, and older version.

That sounds like a half decent plot for a film cory. We could all be wired up to a massive network where we mentally interact with each other, and imaginary surroundings. There could even be some who had 'broken out' of the system, and are planning to free the rest of us. You could call it, errm....oh I don't know, just of the top of my head....The Matrix. Sounds like a winner to me.

 

As to the computer thing, the 'intelligence' must be either a right evil ba****d, or pretty crap at their job. They could have thought up a better scenario than the one we got.
