Mat Hillman 49
Got a day off planned for Wednesday . . . we've had a few days of unseasonably warm weather here in Essex, yesterday the thermometer in my car was show 15c !! Is this recent mild spell of weather going to be good or not for my chances of a pike - will it have switched them on, or will it have them thinking more of spawning than feeding?? Tigger 708
For what it's worth I think the milder spell will liven the pike up and improve your catch rate. It's bound to as they just like most other species feed better when it's warmer.
John Weddup 22
For what use my opinion is pike have been coming out in multiple catches over the north essex area , suffolk and the fens since it warmed up. John
Phone 750
All, IMO (and I'm no pike fisherman) the warmer weather won't do much for the pike but don't you suspect the prey will be considerable more active. I'd certainly begin my session with that in mind. Active prey. Phone
