I think there's a typo, Colin! Unless I wrote them down wrongly the perch were all twos.

I must admit the thought of a few near 5lbers had me going a bit, although I thought maddog must have very big hands. :D

 

Even with out any typos it's still a very impressive haul of big perch. I assume that they are the same/similar year class, and there must be a good supply of small to medium sized prey fish, unless the dreaded crays have invaded.

The focus seems to be mainly on the big tench, perch, bream, and carp, but surly there must be the potential for some massive roach at Wingham. I would have thought that the odd one would have turned up on a bait intended for other species, even if they are not targeted specifically.

Yes, that's what I thought which is why it was removed from the water hastily!

You might have got a damaged camera, but you'd have some great footage!
