I'm back in Staffordshire in a sleepy village just outside Lichfield.

At least you have zander to target in the local canals.

Been thinking about an after work lure session at the Birmingham end of that canal near Bromford.

D'you do any good?

Been thinking about an after work lure session at the Birmingham end of that canal near Bromford.

It's been a while since i've fished for them myself, but i've spoken to quite a few anglers on the bank in the last 12 months who seem to do good with small lures, think they call it drop shot fishing with short rods.

 

 

Eat right, stay fit, die anyway.

Little crankbaits and dropshoting are the way I was going to go and with lures now cheap as chips from China, who cares if they get hung up on a shopping trolly?
