All,   As for the topic. This event is a tragedy of moral decay and a common civil society. No alteration of our laws could change the killing that occurred in Las Vegas. The guy was not "crazy".

Sportsman is right. Don't worry, the guy was white, christian, not a supremacist, and hated his mother-in-law who attended that church. The question MIGHT be? - how did he buy the gun(s) having a couple felony convictions and numerous arrests

.

Hating his mother-in-law seems normal enough. The gun thing was a very logical OOPS. He had cash.

Edit: actually he had two mother-in-laws and hated them both. Did I mention his non-felony arrests were for beating his children?

Could it be that God can use evil for a greater good, by which people are redeemed?

 

Should God prevent mass starvation, as well as the theft of food to prevent starvation? Free will?

 

I would ask, from where is such a universal moral absolute obtained? Is it made up by people? Is it voted on? It is just assumed, by faith, to be true!!!

 

Like it or not, you are part of the equation. No free lunch.

I thought catholics got a free lunch? Not very good lunch but fine for cannibals and vampires.

Not sure any god that could but refuses to save an 18 month old kid in gods own house is a god i would respect ,fine example of no god at all .

Unfortunately the god scam has had 2000 years to sort out the excuses that a 'good' god does bad things or most likely no things good at all! All he appears to do is warn the rich they maybe living in the wrong place by destroying the poor!
