I would add that I find it very amusing the tone of replies, it seems somebody is threatening action against members, as I see it it’s like a person walking into a Police Station and admitting a series of offences and then threatening unlawful imprisonment. The VAT thing is just a smokescreen thrown up by the Codfather.

I was actually referring to the value of the bartered goods as a "benefit in kind" that has a monetary value for income tax purposes.

In that respect, it's no different to a company car, or an MP's second home.

Do you catch fish to give away Ken simple question  , saying that  does anybody on here catch fish to give away ,I give away stones and  stones of it away to  pensioners , family etc etc etc all tax free they love it nothing like fresh Whitby cod taste better than  the frozen shite and it tastes so much better when it’s all free  of charge
