You can get these from UK sites, but I think they only go up to size 14, whereas our main problem seems to be size 8 and 10

Certainly worth a check through, but I don't think they do a fine wire eyed 8 or 10

You may be right these days John, but Mustad were the Brand to beat for donkey's years to present, from 1877 (2 years before Rorke's Drift)

Drenan wide gape specialists are eyed microbarbed hooks, they would work fine.
