Loads of options for £30 – By Phil Hunter

There’s a few clever chair solutions on the market today but by the time you’ve added the bits on you could have bought a small family car. One seat I’ve seen with a set of wheels on it cost more than a hundred quid… you get this entire seat system for less than half that!

For £30 you get a quality carp/specimen chair with adjustable legs and mud feet meaning you can be safe and level – not normally an issue on commercial fisheries but a nightmare on my favourite River Severn.

Next on the list of extras is a side tray which can go right or left, depending on what you find comfortable. This is an absolute essential and I sometimes can’t believe how I struggled on without one.

There’s also front and rear rod rests – the front is telescopic and the rear height adjustable. I’ve found this configuration to be handy as I can keep the feeder rod down low on lakes but when after barbel on flowing water, I can reposition and get the tip high keeping the line out of the water.

The whole kit is stored in a free carrying bag, which makes getting to your swim handy and it also stops mud covering the boot of your motor. A really good piece of kit for pleasure and specimen anglers.
