Your post turned up on the sea fishing forum and I posted this:

I sit here totally gob smacked, that is some fish from a yak, great read like the rest over on the yak forum can't wait to see the pics. :clap2: :fishing: :clap2: Sorry I can't find a smilie going down on bended knee, well done that man.

And I must add how the hell the yak took that pull without going turtle is beyond me, got to be some sort of record. :D :D

Ah, therin lies the secret of sit-on-top kayaks designed for angling, they are made to be stable enough for this kind of thing. Hats off to the clever people at Ocean Kayak and the designers of the Prowler13 I say :thumbs:

If you ever come back to the Mull of Galloway for another visit I will buy you a few beers in mate


I'm sure that can be arranged :D Hopefully during the inshore tope run next season, still to get me one of them feisty critters.

You bet it is Elton,heaviest thing ever caught on a yak in the U.K.--it's guys like Spanner that are responsible for the ever growing popularity of the sport.Hope it makes the national press--bet O.K. do too!
