As you all know by now, Home Secretary Sajid Javid is facing criticism after the baby son of Shamima Begum died in a Syrian camp, with the Labour party calling his actions in revoking Begums' citizenship "callous and inhumane".

Obviously, the opposition has to oppose any decisions made by those in power, but are they right in criticising him like that? Do they represent the views of the majority of people in the UK or are they just trying to stir up a sh!t storm?

They don't represent my views at all. She made her bed, now she can sleep in it and take the consequences. No skin off my nose.

it's just cheap opportunistic point scoring and is typical of the likes of Dianne Abbott.
She made her choice (with the help from the brain washing her father gave her) so she should live with that decision.
I have no sympathy for her or her family whatsoever.

All,

John, One of the problems of being a "declared snowflake" is that there are stupid liberals - they attack conservatives for not agreeing with everything they say.  You will often find them accusing others of being racists, ignoring the poor, and being greedy with a narrow  minded point of view. Of course there are those of us that merely disagree with opinions that differ from our own and respect all.

Does anyone really believe this is a matter of left and right?  I don't.

They are simply trying to secure the voting allegiance of those in demographic ascendency.
With Muslims now the majority in many parts of the country, outbreeding the natives by 2 or 3 to 1 and inevitably voting as a block as directed by he local mosque, condemning common sense all but guarantees Corbyn seats.
It's a dangerous game though because Labour are also getting very close to completely loosing the trust of the white working class - who are only going to turn to UKIP.

Thats their job to put a anything down (even good things) its why they are called the opposition ,bit of a clue there!
Must be a great job being the head of the opposition you can spout any old crap and not have to do anything about it unlike government.
They can promise to save the planet ,make everyone rich and give everyone jobs while in opposition and not have to do a damn thing to back it up

Labour does not speak for me.

The terrorist group that person left to join are "callous and inhumane". Beheading, rapes, mass murder.

She made her bed, but she decided that she had made a mistake and wanted to return to the UK, expecting to walk straight back in.

If Corbyn had his was, all of the UK Jihadis would be welcomed back with open arms.

Home Secretary Sajid Javid was absolutely right in his actions.  :clap3:

All,

It's getting so place of residence has little to do with "citizenship" in the US any more.

IMO governments are going to have to take a much stronger stand.  Climate change alone is going to displace a couple hundred million in the next decade.

My problem, it's easy to identify the issue - far more difficult to identify the solution.
