Andy Loble has been catching some big perch lately and I think it’s fair to say that quite a few of the Anglers’ Net audience have been inspired to give perch fishing a go themselves, having seen some of the photos!
In this 10-minute video, Andy reveals some specimen perch Tactics at Alderwood Ponds.
He tempts some big perch on prawns with a seed compost ground bait mixed with chopped worms, liquidised maggots and liquid attractors added in, catching monster perch to over 3lb on a commercial fishery towards the end of winter, fishing in the margins and spombing the compost mix into open water both catching fish.
