  7. Now you surprise me there I would have thought Budgie would have drummed it into you that you need at least 20/25lb for Pike, I think he goes a lot higher than that actually. I would say 15lb is a bit too risky.

  19. It's always a good idea to wash your nets properly in soapy water, and for good measure add some fabric softener to the final rinse. They will be less likely to spread diseases and will last a lot longer. Oh and smell nice and fresh so as to invite the said carp with a 'come hither' attraction.

  23. Peter how about the Severn for instance, you could say that it's tidal up to Tewkesbury, but what about the stretches well above, say above Shrewsbury, would you say that that is viable?
