Had a disaster sesion on the local canal at the weekend....went through six lures in about two hours......wouldn't have been have happy at all untill with my last cast broke my PB on lure 13lb 9oz which help's to forget about the lures!!

I can only agree!! I prefur to make my own traces, As soon as there is any sign of damage kinking etc its time for a new one!

whilst in the states fishing a small lake and run out a worms so I ended up putin a small piece of twig (roughly worm shaped) jigged it a little and large mouth bass would take it for fun! Daft?? :confused:

Hi guys sorry to barge into the sea forum, I got the sea disgorger and modified it (with instructions from alan which i found easy to follow) and i found it excellent for pike fishing especially for deep hooks. Mac

Wasn't going to try lures but they must be worth a go any particular type??

Hi, I did 4 night stint bank holiday weekend with not to much luck! tried everthing fruity bollies fishy bollies but the only runs where on perperami hot!! So i would prob try some meaty kind of bait with a bit of a kick to it, Talking to other anglers on there many where fishing BIG pop up rigs of anything up to 6foot of the bottom. If you do a search for the website and get the number give the Bailiff a call, he's very helpful, tell you how its fishing what baits catching which rig methord to use etc even which peg. hope this helps!!
