  1. Have you contacted the club? I know Nantwich Anglers share a number of beats with them and they produce a map showing the beats and access.

  3. I cant see that using braid would solve the problem of the line clip. In fact the braid is likely to suffer more than mono. The line clip is clearly at fault, take it back and if the shop wont accept liability contact shimano directly.
  4. Paste made with egg is just an unboiled boilie. As long as its fresh then yes it can be frozen.
  5. I used to use some thing similar but they were black. Again far superior to the korum stop. The only shop I knew that sold them was in Newtown Wales.
  6. Unfortunately no one can answer your question with out further info. We need to know what rod/s you are using. water conditions ie are there any snags etc.
  7. No 1. Define live baiting? Are not maggots and worms live baits? No 2. As an angler you obviously accept its ok to stick a hook in a fishes mouth, and accept the odd deep hooked or foul hooked fish that occurs. So what makes it different if the hooks are placed elsewhere an angler desires? No 3. Transfer of disease. Please give an example where this has been proved to occur? Before any one decides to jump on me I do abide and fully support this rule. No 4. I wont comment on the action of the BAA. As It would lead to deleted posts and possible legal action. No 5. The use of live bait is and still will be a lawful method. The use of which should be left to individuals to decide if its used or not.
  8. I think you answered your own question Yhe tuna is in brine so to my mind theres already enough in the tuna.

  11. I'm on their mailing list so I get the occasional news letter.
  12. Forget cloth and filter papers. Be green and use a sustainable applicator. Seriously use a finger, its an old trick. Before the comments come back you will need a brush to get under the rod rings.
  13. When I read this I pmsl. http://uk.videogames.games.yahoo.com/blog/article/11851/
  14. Hayter have a web site http://www.hayter.co.uk/ Hand books can be downloaded http://www.hayter.co.uk/products/homeowner...electric-mower/ You may find the answer you require there or by contacting them for info.
  15. A friend of mine would disagree with you budgie. He swears by dead jacks. He does tend to save them for the days when a blank is on the cards. The number of times hes caught is unreal.
  16. The only jointed floats I can remember were peacock quill. If memory serves the hinge wasnt a ring but a sliver from the quill doubled back and then whipped. It was a neighbour and his son who showed them to me.
  17. For cleaning the butt I used to use a nail brush and Vim or Ajax powder. No nasty comments on my age please. These days I use cif or wilkos own brand cleaner.
  18. As carbon fibre is naturally black, there sprayed with paint/varnish. Yes ,individual rod rings can be replaced but its fiddly.
  19. The old type licence had a space where the EA bailiff could initial it. I believe this was so any further check by a bailiff showed it had already been checked. I noticed at the end of the signature space theres a small box. I wonder if this is for the bailiffs initials? I was told that laminating the old type wasnt allowed for as this didnt allow the bailiff to counter sign it. So I assume the same applies to the new one.
  20. They used to come 3 to a packet. So giving 3 different strengths. They were a great help with windy conditions.
  21. Unfortunately that will only allow me to print off a single run. I will need to do more later. This printing is only an occasional thing, thats why I draw the line at paying for the full version.
  22. On an earlier version of office I used publisher to create some files. The version I now use doesnt have publisher. Consequently I cant access these files. If I re load the old version it conflicts with the newer version. Is there any free soft ware I can use to allow me to access and print these old files?
  23. Go to the venue walk round the lake being match fished, then settle behind one angler. Observe whats going on and that should help you make the decision whether or not your suite to it.
  24. If when you say budget your talking £20 -30 then all the ones I've seen are very flimsy. Have you tried the bank sticks with a screw thread on the bottom? I've used these even on rock strewn banks.
  25. The green JW rod is the original avon rod. Yes it came with 2 tops. The quiver tip top had a fixed long white quiver tip.
