All eels dont all eat the same thing. It varies from water to water. I would fish two rods, one with a single hook with a big bunch of lobs on, say a 4 with like 8 lobs on, and a wire trace on the other rod with two trebles baited with a small deadbait.This way you get the best of both worlds. I must say I dissagree that okuma's are low budget reels. Of course there are a few reels that they make which are low budget. However, the hyperloop series of rods are low budget. I agree with Andy on this one.

I'm not sure about their "homing" sense. One of my mates used to take a dog hunting (breed escapes me). However this hunting can only be called...poaching. So when any authority came along he would leave the dog and drive 2 miles back to his house. Within a week the dog would be sat outside the front door asking to be let in.
