  1. I will be thinking of you and all my best wishes on a speedy recovery.
  2. Hi Barry, What type of TV,s are they, I may be interested in one. Richard.
  3. I am amazed, here we have a woman who has decided to keep her body in good shape and all you can do is bitch about it, you women you.
  4. Newt, If you were using that type of reel you must have been from a well to do family, because Huck Finn only had a stick and his Mum,s knicker elastic.
  5. Is teme_man really our rabbit? If so and I do not care how you found out, but I for one would very much like him to declare himself as I did enjoy rabbit,s contribution immensely and he should not be afraid to come forward with his history on the site, which was informative, interesting, and of course provocative. Edit for spelling
  6. I did not realise Steve could sing that well.
  7. Do you mean something this big.
  8. Having had a good look at these wounds, I am going to say that the culprit could well be a cormorant, I feel that it is more like a grasping/holding wound and not a spearing or penetrating wound as would be the case with say either a Heron or Air rifle. The cormorant in question may also have had a malformed lower bill which would enhance the wound as well.
  9. Well, I have been following this thread and very interesting it is too, I am going to leave fishing expertise and skills alone and would make an observation regarding video 6 and video 57. George, hello and welcome to AN, notwithstanding your obvious interest in fishing the most fascinating aspect of the two video,s noted above is the dramatic development in the presentation of your process and of you yourself, I would consider that should your direction not eventually manifest itself in Angling, it most certainly would in the world of TV,film or other media and I get the feeling that that is what your library of video,s is all about. Congratulations on showing the YouTube public your skills.
  10. I think I now understand why I do not post so much on the forum anymore.
  11. Welcome and I am sure that someone may be able to help with your venue soon.
  12. I do not mind either way, I will leave up to the rest, it's only a game
  13. These people may be able to help. http://chinasearch.co.uk/
  14. Shakespeare made a lot of cane fly rods in their early days and it could just be that is what you have, the first number was the line weight and the next two denoted length, so line weight 3, 18= 1800mm maybe. A photo would help.
  15. Sad news Budgie, but you have lots of great memories.
  16. Hi Dales, Just tried to join using the code listed and nothing appears to be happening, is the code correct? Richard. PS. OK now I am in.
  17. Well you SNOB, I would only have Harrison or Normark on my £250.00 rod.
  18. River Carp, Yes just great to go after, I must say now that I have never had any success, but I think the best piece of advice I did get was, "You can prebait as many swims as you like and if you catch it was luck, first you must find where the Carp are by studying the river which takes time and commitment, then having decided on the best area,s of River to fish, because you have seen Carp activity then prebait and the success rate will increase". Not sure this will help, but it does sound sensible and for River carp more so. Good luck Andrew, I will watch with interest.
  19. Great story and a wonderful punch line/photo
  20. Hi there, I have a pair of Hooligans 2.75lbs, I have used them about six times, they are in good condition and come with there originals rod bags, I will check on some postage costs on Monday and let you know a price. Richard.
  21. Judy, great cloud formation in shot #2, just like cotton wool balls.
