  4. Henry by a mile, JW is good watching, i just turn the volume down when he comes on. Paul young is a bit boring though and Matt is too egotistical for me. All nice guys off camera i've heard.

I own two Petzl's and have been using this for the past two months http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/s...&clickfrom=name an absolute bargain at £9:99p, the Petzl's are fine for rock work but most of us want to see how our line lays on the retrieve of our multipliers, i find this is the right light.
  10. Newt, have a look here.. http://free.hostdepartment.com/w/weightami...nute/pirks.html ...and this one , a bar pirk... http://www.tackleworld.co.uk/acatalog/Tack...t_Rings_28.html you add a split ring either end.
  11. The kid oozes class, i have to laugh at all the idiot Liverpool fans who have been telling me he is ordinary.
  12. I've just returned from Cyprus and did a lot of snorkelling, a couple of snorkellers passed by me with spear guns at the ready was i worried?, i'd have been a lot more worried if my kids had been in the water with me. Wouldnt mind but the biggest fish i saw was about 6" long.
  13. Pugs, i have a Shimano TSM2cfs that has seen better days, a tad noisy and not enough power. I used it on a boat trip and struggled with decent fish on so it'll have to be retired to the shelf.
  14. Mmmmm! anyone got one of these then? are they stronger than the Slosh?.
  15. I fancy the slosh now after reading about those Abu sideplates.
  16. Wiggy, if i did that i might as well stick with my 6000/6500 sizes, no, i'm talking whiting /codling size, cannot be doing with hauling all the fish by hand, bigger ones go in the drop net. I really do appreciate your input tho.
  17. Your opinions again please i'm in the market for a good strong one , been thinking about an Abu 7000, Slosh 20, need it for hauling fish up 20ft walls without having to jerk the rod i own smaller sized reels in the 7ht size. I should state that i do carry a drop net also. [ 26. September 2004, 03:17 PM: Message edited by: Casey ]
  18. Westie, i have the 13ft version, maybe you havent tightened it down enough. I did have a problem with trying to detach my reel as the top of the griplock came apart.
  19. Mmmmmm Norm, a lot cheaper as well? now i am...
  20. Thanks for all your input, i fished on a boat the other day, someone was using a 975LD, he remarked how great a reel it was with no jamming on the retrieve like most others. Thinks i'll be saving up then.
  21. I can see a man in a boat.
