They are probably the closest thing to 'chicken' to come out of a KFC ;)

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.

If you worry about what goes on in restaurants, food packaging plants etc then you'd never eat anything. If it was really that bad then it would cause loads of public health incidents, since they are rare I'm not bothered what I eat. Still can't work out how donner kebabs don't cause more health problems, but once again I'll eat them, especially after a few beers !

i remember my brother telling me stories about the sandwhich packers factory he worked in, dust from the floor getting put in rolls, people wiping there nobs on to bread and calling them cheese sandwhiches, spitting, rubbing there ass on buns the list is endless, ill never eat pre packed sandwhiches again after hearing that.

I've heard similar stories (usually at second or third hand) everywhere I've been. Although some of them must have been true, I'm convinced the majority were typical "Urban Myths".

At the start of my working life I was apprenticed to a firm that did sheet metal work. One of the things we made was chip shop ranges. On occasions we had to go out to replace ranges that had been on fire. The pans were the things that were easiest to salvage and the apprentices got the job of cleaning them.

What we found put me off fish and chips for a very long time. There were rat prints in the fat, complete with their droppings. I once found a half brick, as well as the usual deep fried insects and various items such as knives, forks, mugs, a watch, and best off all, what was left of a bottom set of false teeth! (never did find the owner).

It's sometimes best not to think too hard about what might happen behind the scenes, at cooked food outlets. :yucky:

Angling is more than just catching fish, if it wasn't it would just be called 'catching'......... John

It was the "food adulteration with human body fluids" stories I was a bit suspicious about, Chesters, not all the animal cruelty stuff that goes on, which I'm in absolutely no doubt about.
