Vagabond try the tackleshop/boat sales at Ardwell on the south edge of the village. They were selling bait last time I was in there.

 

The Sports Shop in Stranraer supplies bait as well.

 

I bet tack4 has sorted you already. Pity I was not at my caravan for your visit.

I`m taking my Hake gear up! :D:D We`ll need more than 3 small fishes to feed this lot!
