amen to that newt, seems to me we have at least 2 people who have great knowledge of piking in the UK ,knowledge that the could and do give freely to others .so if peter and Charlie could put the gloves away and contribute to anglers net in the positive way that peter has in the past well what a fantastic thing that would be .

so over to you guys can we call this a draw and hope both Charlie and peter will stay on here and add to the level of debate with particular regard to piking.what a fantastic day for anglers net.cheers big al

Dear Chaps,

Sometimes, anglers using internet angling forums are a bit like er well, gossiping girls over a garden wall. And didn't we just love this one Maud!!?

Peter made more come backs than Larry Holmes in this verbal game of ping pong. Charlie stayed the course like a veteran terrier eager to chew off Peters trouser leg. Elton came in with his pro guide post, Peters fire went out, and Charlies terrier must have had its foot trod on.

Holy broken Pooh Sticks! Just when Maud and me were booking our deckchairs and fizzy orange pop for the pikers showdown. What a damp squib.

Regards,

Lee.

Charlie - good on ya and now, I think I'll post a topic that you can give good input if you have a little time.

" My choices in life were either to be a piano player in a whore house or a politician. And to tell the truth, there's hardly any difference!" - Harry Truman, 33rd US President
