I would like to know what has been done with regards to the assets of the north sea oil. Have they been invested or wasted on our behalf.

Much of it was used to to subsidise the import of foreign goods, and to close down the industries at home that used to produce them.

This of course was back in the 'Golden 80s'.

I have been some what confused when I hear these terms which reference the word "service".

Internal Revenue "Service",

Postal "Service",

Telephone "Service",

T.V. "Service",

Civil "Service",

City & County Public "Service",

Customer "Service" and

"Service" Stations.

This is not what I think "service" means.

But today, I overheard two farmers talking, and one of them said he had hired a bull to "service" a few cows.

BAM!!! It all came into perspective.

I now understand what all those "service" agencies are doing to us.

Can someone confirm that these num eds who drive during bright sunlight with the fog lights on use more fuel than us ordinaries. You know who you are, go on admit it. not volvo drivers though .

The are not nearly as bad as the dip-sh!ts who drive around in heavy rain or in twilight with bugger all but side lights on. You'd think they had to put a shilling in the meter or something.
