Just back in from dog walkies... wind has dropped here, tis now no more than a force 6

 

Also no phone calls from LA as yet.. could be a good thing

fancy giving the west pier a wee shot tonight Norrie God knows what direction them waterfalls where going last night eh Just seems so unbalevable that the water would go right up over the old pier to the snack bar. Mustof been one heck of a blow...I wonder what has become of the tender bieng so close to shore.....

Woke up this morning to find we are the final resting place for our neighbour's rabbit hutch and late rabbits.

trees down here, chimeys lookin worse for wear, gate has vanished...hope those slates aren't ours!..

 

still, me and mine are in one piece, those trees in our street must be over 100 yrs old though

A real mess everywhere up here - Just had a look around, houses with loads of slates and tiles of everywhere, trees uprouted, windows smashed, cabins and boats flipped, sheds dissapeared - and thats only from a 5 minute look around.

 

We came off ok, looking around, the only damage we sustained was the birdhouse going for a walk.

 

Guess people are going to be busy on the phone to their housing insurances today !!!

Panic off all caravans on the top site still there. Martin has not checked the bottom ones yet though! He said the boulders were chucked out of the sea at Kilstay!

Went for a cycle with camera on my back and took a few shots of aftermath of it all.
