my pc is ok now a 1kw psu and its firing on all barrels,the crap win98 laptop is resting once more

could do with a faster cpu but its fine for now

1Kw what exactly are you running to warrant that amount of power or do you heat the house from it too ?

It seems it's the 'like' buttons at the top of the section that are the late-loading culprit.

 

I remember reading about them, pleased to say they've not appeared here yet; I guess all my various blockers are working OK.

Why is it that employers who all claim to be blue chip, pro-active or any other corporate bigging up bullshit all issue their employees with out of date PCs or laptops? It's like they grab a PC world catalogue and then spend two years deciding which one to buy without picking up a new catalogue.

no idea, ive just upgraded from a 14" tft to a whoppin 22" i feel so special, would have preffered extra ram though
