He looks like he's been on rat poison/ warfarin ........his blood was so thin !

what a fool, i like how he blames the fac that hes on his own and blames the cam...

no lad it is because your foll putting you whole thumb into his mouth... it's jutified that the pike bit him, but total respect to him putting the pike back in instead of beating it... but even better goes and puts his hand in to wash the blood just after the flamming pike had a taste of his blood

Are you joking? Are pike like sharks, they get a taste for blood and attack? I don't know if your messing around because that would be a bit daunting thinking you could be swimming in a river or something with a 40lb pike with a taste for human blood lurking in the depths! :o

As famous fisherman John Gierach once said "I used to like fishing because I thought it had some larger significance. Now I like fishing because it's the one thing I can think of that probably doesn't."

Been there, done that - and worse.

I have three very nice L shaped scars on the inside of my left thumb that saw me bleeding like a stuck pig when a previously calm pike of about 7lbs whent a bit crazy as I was unhookinmg.

It just happened to happen on one of the few occasions when my father has been out lure fishing with me and he was mightily impressed.
