Your how i built a weed rake from 6 old coat hangers and a broom stick would make an interesting stand alone thread though B):lol: Steve

 

You don't have to wait, I got all enthusiastic....one rake;

Seems to work in the garden but I might add a few more cable ties

Fantastico Chris that looks the part chap ,I have some short lengths of anchor chain that you could use between Rake and Rope to help get her down better attached by a d ring .

I sense a spin the rake around your head to see who can get it farthest into the lake competition ,Hell we might even get it turned into an Olympic sport :lol: good luck Sunday Steve.

We are not putting it back it is a lump now put that curry down and go and get the scales

have I told you abouit the cruise control on my Volvo ,,,,,,,bla bla bla Barder rod has it come yet?? and don`t even start me on Chris Lythe :bleh::icecream:

Good luck chris! that rake looks like a well improvised piece of kit! u decided where on the lake your going to fish? if you have a two rod permit aswell there is a peg with a nice gravel bar that throws up quite a few tench but not within waggler distance.

Only caught one fish... it was only a shade over 3lb...and was an immaculate rudd. My m8 had a tinca of approx 3 to 4lb so not a prolific session but this water is only a late starter so it's early doors yet :).
