Those magocan that you speak off are alive and well at a jet station in a village called scartho near grimsby.

Only problem is the last one i bought was full of sawdust and very few maggots .

So being a Yorkshireman and tight with me brass i thought ******** to that and havent bought any maggots in cans since.

I was boat holidaying on the Norfolk broads, year before last, and found those mag machines ideal, £2 a go, full to the top and fresh, very convenient. Why dont we have more of them around the country, especially where there's fishing in the area and no tackle shops to buy maggots.

Elton

Do you remember when i mailed you to find out if that was one of your "projects"??.

I saw one of those machines at a fuel station in Ely & it had a sticker or something on it advertising anglersnet, so i had to ask the murphster if it was his machine didn't i? :D

I have seen and used the machines on the norfolk broads while on holiday.

I think there is also one in Ipswich at one of the garages.

What ever happened to the Sundridge DIPPA range of cheap gear?

Me and my mates always used their floats and hooks because we couldnt afford any others when we were nippers.

The floats were great because you could take them apart and make your own patterns.

i live in norfolk and i can think of six maggot machines in a 30 mile radius of my house, there must be more about though.

Ive bought maggots from them sometimes when i cant get to the tackle shop, and the maggots have been very poor most of the time, usually dead and very rubbery.

It would be interesting to find out exactly who is responsibe for filling and maintaining these machines, does anyone know?

I beleve the machine in ipswich is no more as the listing says it is at the Save filling station on Fore Hamlet, but the filling station has closed down now.

Does anyone have any ideas if there are anymore of these machines in Ipswich as would be very convinient.
