I don't know if it will work but places like B & Q and Do It All sell paint for children's bedrooms in various sizes and flourescent colours. Not sure if it will be waterproof though.

many years ago when i could be bothered to make my own the paints came from the tackle dealer , a white base coat ,then the flourescent one then a coat of varnish :( hopefully nowadays it is self undercoating and waterproof :)

Try "Wilkinsons" store, if you have one, "Halfords" bike section, bicycle shops, model shops. I use, "Plasti-kote" odds "n" ends fast dry enamel. 100ml £2.19 spray can, probably cheaper by painting by brush.

I find the best way of painting quills, especially porcupine quills, is to coat the area to be painted in either High Build Epoxy or Ten Minute Araldite, this overcomes the common problem of paint peeling or chiping. Then its one spray coat of white primer and one of floro. A neat black line between paint and quill finishes them a treat.

Scott, if you have a firm of Silk Screen printers/suppliers near you, they use inks which are like paint. Certainly worth asking,
