· Southern Angler, at 54 foot long, is a wonderfully large wooden coastal angling boat.

She was built in 1964 in Fleetwood, Lancashire, though Exmouth has been her home for many years now.

She, too, has GPS, sonar and radios, and her skipper is Liane.

With loads of seating, a toilet, and a soft drinks and snacks bar she is a very comfortable vessel.

Primarily used for Mackerel Fishing and occasionally for Reef Fishing Southern Angler is an excellent choice for families and groups.

Unlike some other operators we use Rods with multiplier reels so even our Mackerel trips are a real fishing experience.

The all weather lifeboat towed the fishing vessel back to the company's mooring at Exmouth. In order to get the passengers back on dry land the lifeboat took all 31 people onto the lifeboat and back to the docks.

THAT'S why I pay a subscription as a Governor every year

Could I urge all other AN sea-fishermen to take out the largest RNLI subscription they can afford (there are several levels)

I know most of you already do, so thanks for that.

I've fished off that boat ! Had to pay for me and the kids, spend £60 on new coats for them as they'd left theirs at home, £10 on bait.

Think I caught a Dogfish.

Its more of a tourist boat than a serious charter boat.

Wondering if it's coded differently compared with a charter boat. Both are passenger carrying vessels, yet the charter boats are limited to twelve max.

During the summer you see a few of these boats carrying families out to do a bit of ,mackerel fishing and they appear to get on as many as possible.

This report stated that it's anchor wasn't holding. Looking at the foto Leon put up, no self respecting charter boat would rely on an anchor that was on the bow of that boat. Yes i know it doesn't anchor to fish for mackerel, but when it is needed you would expect them to have one thats fit for purpose. Does it have a winch?

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Pretty difficult to anchor anywhere in the middle of the tidal flow on the Exe.

Tell me with a decent tide, what sort of speeds are expected. B)
