Steve Jobs the man behind gadgets like the iPod and the iPhone has died.

 

The 56-year-old had been receiving treatment for cancer and stepped down as the boss of Apple in August as he had been unwell for several years.

 

Apple, the company he co-founded, said in a statement that it had lost "a visionary and creative genius".

He was described as a visionary and creative genius. I don't think I would argue with that.

Shame he was head of a company which made such cheaply put together (BLOODY expensive!!) piles of crap!!! I-Pod batteries!! I-Screen letting out light all around the screens!! The I-Phones!! NEED I SAY MORE???? And others!! And SO bloody expensive

 

The Computers is what he should have stuck at, they were now and always will be brilliant I think! But a VERY clever man yes no doubt about that!

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

If Apple stuck to only making computers, they would have gone down the tubes years ago.

I jst paid a quick visit to the Apple store and configured a macPro wit all of the top of the range components.

It came out at 16,400 pounds :huh:

I believe his claim to fame will be in his handling of the stock. He was after all, only a co-founder of Apple.

 

Didn't I read Apple became the most "valuable"(?) stock in America for a brief period recently? (Passed GM or GE or something like that?)
