Sweetcorn and luncheon meat will both tempt carp and are easy to get hold of to. A coarse mix groundbait will also help.

believe it or not, elderberries or prawns can produce good fish. they're different but berries are mainly good for roach and rudd. I caught a small roach on elderberries once.

Or cheese works well for carp.

any kind of berry (all the better if it occurs naturally at your venue) will work, i go on the idea that if i like it, the fish will like it too!!! works with black pudding, cockles, peperami, luncheon meat, sweetcorn, hemp etc etc
