Guess the weight people LOL

Since there have been a few of these weight guessing threads recently and we've all seen how a fish can look bigger or smaller in a pic I thought this it would be interesting to see if anyone could nail the weight of this skimmer....

Very bronze for a skimmer, that, more of a dwarf than a juvenile I'd say.

The great glossary has failed me again. What the 'ell is a "skimmer"?

Obviously in the carp family.

 

I agree, it looks like an adult fish (maybe even with spawn)????

 

If that is a three and a half - four inch reel it weighs 4lbs 6oz. If that is a four and a half - five inch reel then 3lbs 9 oz.

What the 'ell is a "skimmer"?

 

A small bream, aka a pile of snot. A larger bream is a larger pile of snot and so on.

I knew it would be a difficult one to guess. The fish is quite thick in body and has an even thicker belly. It may be full of food as I caught it feeding on a cattle drink (normally high and dry) when the river was up a few feet with rain water and a retreating tide on Sunday. I think phone noticed it was a fatty .

The fish doesn't look it's weight !
