I may be gone for awhile?

Remember those immortal words?

Well I thought I was lucky after a bowel cancer scare. OK its back.

So I came home tonight to find that my rescued tomcat `Arry` had managed to rip his side open on something. God I thought, what will Victoria think?

I heard the front gate opening, turned to wave from my window, only to see two boys in blue looking at me.

Mr Compton? Your wife`s been involved in a serious road traffic accident! Blue light job to Northwick Park Hospital, held her hand for a few hours, then the doctors told me to go home. There was nothing I could do for her. Victoria`s going to live, but she`s sustained several fractures to her neck. And there was I feeling sorry for myself.

So if ever you have a bad day, then think things couldn`t get worse. Praise the Lord when they don`t. Yours truly has just recieved a triple whammy.

But life must still go on. I`ve got animals that adore me, a wife that needs me to be strong and a bunch of friends that never let me down.

So when you ever feel like giving up? Don`t you dare go there!!!

 Paul.

We don`t use J`s anymore!!

I have been awake since 3A.M. worrying about work. Having just read this you have knocked my troubles into triviallity.

All the best mate, cannot say anything else.

hi we have never met but my thoughts are with you

The salary of the chief executive of a large corporation is not a market award for achievement. It is frequently in the nature of a warm personal gesture by the individual to himself.
